1. Introduction

Welcome to SVG2CAD. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our online file conversion service ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our Service.

The Service is provided by SVG2CAD, and these Terms apply to all users—whether you are a registered user or a guest. We encourage you to read these Terms carefully as they affect your legal rights.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

• "Service": The online platform provided by SVG2CAD for file conversion using a credit system.
• "User" or "You": Any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Service.
• "Credits": The units used to perform file conversions. Credits are granted upon registration and consumed as conversions occur.
• "Subscription": A recurring payment plan that automatically credits your account on a monthly basis.
• "One-Time Purchase": A single transaction purchase of additional credits when needed.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for and using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Registration and Account

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. During registration, you will be granted a set number of free credits to test the Service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. Credits, Payments, and Subscriptions

5.1 Free Credits

Upon registration, all users receive a complimentary allocation of credits. These free credits are intended to allow you to experience the Service before committing to additional purchases.

5.2 One-Time Purchases

Should you exhaust your free credits, you may purchase additional credits through one-time payments. The pricing and the number of credits available for one-time purchases are subject to change and will be clearly displayed at the time of purchase.

5.3 Monthly Subscriptions

Alternatively, you can opt for a monthly subscription plan. Under this plan, a set number of credits will be automatically credited to your account each month, and the subscription fee will be charged to your designated payment method on a recurring basis.

All payments are processed securely. By making a purchase or subscribing, you agree to the payment terms and conditions as provided during the transaction process.

6. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service solely for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. The Service is designed for converting files only; any attempts to use it for unauthorized or malicious purposes are strictly prohibited.

Misuse of the Service, including but not limited to reverse engineering, copying, or distributing our conversion technology, will result in immediate termination of your account.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights, including but not limited to conversion algorithms, user interfaces, and design elements, are owned by SVG2CAD or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or creation of derivative works based on the Service is strictly prohibited.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties, express or implied. SVG2CAD makes no warranties regarding the Service's uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or security.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SVG2CAD disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall SVG2CAD be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use or inability to use the Service. This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

SVG2CAD's total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the Service in the previous six (6) months.

10. Termination

SVG2CAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Upon termination, any remaining credits in your account will be forfeited.

We may also suspend or restrict access to the Service during periods of maintenance or technical issues.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. In cases where U.S. law may be applicable, such provisions shall be interpreted in a manner consistent with international standards.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Czech Republic.

12. Modifications to the Terms

SVG2CAD reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated by updating the "Last updated" date on this page and, if necessary, through direct communication.

Your continued use of the Service following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SVG2CAD, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed, and the remaining Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and SVG2CAD regarding the use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements, representations, or understandings.
